Peer Review

  • All abstracts undergo blind peer review by the PMAC Independent International Scientific Committee
  • Reviews based on scientific rigor, policy relevance, and contribution to conference themes
  • Reviewer decisions are final

Selection Criteria

Technical Excellence

  • Sound methodology and scientific rigor
  • Clear research objectives and findings
  • Appropriate data analysis and interpretation

Policy Impact

  • Demonstrated relevance to policy development or implementation
  • Potential for real-world application

Theme Alignment

  • Strong connection to conference theme and selected sub-theme
  • Advances equity-centered approaches

Accepted abstracts will be invited to participate as

  • Speaker in thematic sessions
  • Poster presenters in dedicated display sessions

Presentation Details

  • Session formats and requirements will be provided upon acceptance
  • Presenters may be asked to adjust scope to align with session objectives
  • Poster format specifications will be shared with accepted poster presenters
  • All presenters must register for the conference

Funding Support

  • Limited travel and accommodation funding available for presenters whose abstract has been accepted, based on specific criteria.
  • Priority given to presenters selected for presentations in sessions particularly from:
    • Government representatives from developing countries
    • Academic researchers from low- and middle-income countries
    • NGO representatives working in developing countries

  • Indicate interest during abstract submission
  • Funding decisions based on specific criteria and availability
  • Recipients will be notified with acceptance letters
