NCD Fighting: Empowering Individual and Community Approach

It’s time to act for bridging the gap between communities and the rising burden of NCDs with the global demographic transitions and health equity challenges. The innovative and inclusive approach requires the integrated policy and effective actions for the certain population.
Among various initiatives, the community nursing and innovative technology for non-communicable disease (NCD) fighting demonstrated the involving for empowering individuals and communities through health promotion, disease prevention, and comprehensive care management. Home visiting with innovative approach is focused on lifestyle changes i.e., diet and exercise, medication adherence, and creating supportive healthy environments in their neighbourhoods.
Therefore, the session shares understanding, illustrating, and framing subsequent discussions to transition from past experience to future recommendations and inclusive policies for at-risk groups advocacy.
- To share and reflect on experience from the fields to identify key skills, knowledge gained, and quantifiable accomplishments.
- To identify challenges and key success factors of the community nurse models.
- To furnish guidance the inclusive policy to reinforce role of family, community, and supportive environments for transitional demographic challenges
