Tobias Ide is Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF) and the Technical University of Darmstadt. Before that, he worked at the University of Melbourne and Murdoch University Perth. Holding PhDs in Political Science and Earth Science, he studies the intersections of climate change, the environment, peace, and conflict. This has resulted in several books, over 60 journal articles, and strong engagement with a range of decision makers (e.g., World Bank, UN). He has also published on attacks on health workers and protests in the health sector.
