Fadekemi (Kemi) Akinfaderin is a feminist thought leader and global advocate with over 25 years of experience advancing sexual and reproductive justice across Africa and the Global South. She currently serves as Chief Global Advocacy Officer at Fòs Feminista, where she leads global strategies that support feminist movements to shape national and international policy agendas. Kemi has held leadership roles in global philanthropy and advocacy, including at the Equality Fund and PROSPERA – the International Network of Women’s Funds. She began her career as co-founder of Education as a Vaccine in Nigeria and has advised governments and UN bodies on issues of gender, health, and development.
She serves on the boards of the Global Fund for Women and the WHO Civil Society Commission, and holds degrees from Wesleyan University and Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health
