Aïssata FALL is an Independent Policy Dialogue Specialist on Demographic Transitions and Social Policy, with over 25 years of experience leading multi-country programs across Africa. She works with the Population Reference Bureau (PRB), where she coordinates high-level policy dialogues linking governments, parliaments, researchers, and civil society to advance gender-responsive budgeting, social protection, and care economy reforms. Her expertise bridges data, research, and public decision-making, with a focus on translating complex demographic and economic analysis into actionable insights for policymakers. She contributes to the operationalization of the Demographic Dividend-Sensitive Budgeting (DDSB) and National Time Transfer Accounts (NTTA) frameworks—developed with the Consortium for Research in Generational Economics (CREG)—particularly in Francophone Africa. Aïssata has advised national assemblies and ministries across the region on integrating unpaid care work, demographic analysis, and intergenerational equity into policy and budget planning. She is widely recognized for her ability to facilitate inclusive, evidence-based policy dialogue that connects demographic transitions, social policies, and sustainable development.
