Dr. Sang-Hyop Lee is Professor of Economics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He has also served as Chair, Vice Chair, and Asian team leader of the global National Transfer Accounts (NTA) project. His studies focus on issues related with aging, labor market, and social welfare. He has published numerous articles including fourteen books, focusing issues on population aging, labor market, human capital and social welfare, with emphasis on Asian and Korean economies. Dr. Lee received his BA and MA in economics from Seoul National University, and PhD in economics from Michigan State University.
