Yukiko Yamada Morovic is the Technical Director for Environmental Sustainability and Climate Action at World Vision International. She leads the organisation’s global strategy to address environmental and climate challenges impacting children in the world’s most vulnerable communities. Working closely with technical specialists and field teams across regions, she drives locally grounded, scalable solutions to the climate emergency. Under her leadership, World Vision implements flagship initiatives such as Hope for the Dry Corridor of Central America, Amazon Basin Restoration, Regreening Communities, and the global Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR) Scale-up Movement. Yukiko actively contributes to global platforms including the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council, UNEP’s Faith for Earth Women’s Council, and Faith for Action, shaping discourse on faith, climate, and sustainability. With over 20 years of experience in international development across Asia, Central America, and West Africa, she holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
